When God Gets Interrupted (Mark 5:21f) 4/26/20
Intro: Last week “When life gets interrupted” (Mark 4:35-41)
Sometimes interruptions can be a good thing, what good has come out of this pandemic? _____________________________
When God is interrupted a lot of good things can take place in our lives. Let us make some observations from this narrative that we find in Mark 5:21f.
- When God is interrupted our Status is change
- Jairus (22) – religious leader, male, insider, rich…..
- The women (25) Bleeding, 12 years, weak, poor, unclean, an outsider.
When God is interrupted, His __________ reverses the values of the world. We are in desperate need of __________
- When God is interrupted our Schedule is altered. (Rhythm of Life)
- Jairus wants Jesus to come …. But Vs 36… He ignores
- Jesus, looks right into his eyes and says____________________ (36b)
- Are you in a hurry? ____________________
- Ps 46:10
- When God is interrupted there is temporary weakness. (Vs 30)
Note: (That above statement seems strange, just stay with me)
- Vs 30, “At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him”?
- 2 Cor 13:4, 2 Cor 5:21, Heb 2;14-18, Heb 4:14.
- He became _____________ that we could be_____________
Conclusion: Ps 50:15 “and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Do you Believe in a God who when interrupted transforms you inside out?
